Fun times laying around watching T.V, playing peacefully for 5 minutes before a fight breaks out.
Landon moved into his big boy toddler bed. Isn't he cute and looks so excited.
This was a project we had talked about doing for awhile. We decided to give it a shot and tile our kitchen backsplash. We picked out our glass mosiac tiles and had to ask for help about what other materials to buy. Although it wasn't as hard as we thought- we learned a lot from our experience.
I checked prices on how much a home improvement store would charge to install a backsplash in case something went terribly wrong.... wow we saved ourselves around $400 in just installation cost by doing it ourself.
The finished product. Leanna says it looks like a 50's diner- that wasn't our intention, but I think it does match our counter tops and cabinets quite well. We're now on the lookout for stainless appliances to replace our white ones.

HOT camping & around the house
He-Man!! Remember him... well Landon doesn't fight off Skeletor, but he does fight imaginary dragons and Tiger the cat.
Speaking of Tiger... she had been sleeping on Landon's changing table pad until I took it off. Now, Leanna comes running to me this morning and says "Mom, the cat has gone too far!" She decided since I took away her nap pad she would try out Landon's crib instead!!!
My beautiful anniversary flowers from Nathan. Can you believe it's been 4 years!
I thought it would be so easy to applique a simple letter on a t-shirt. Ha, ha! Well, I finally finished it and it has made it through one washing without falling apart.
Memorial Day weekend we went camping- ummm, why do we manage to pick either the hottest or rainiest time to camp? It just confirms my love of camping :) Leanna's got her pole and ready to head to the river.
A quick lesson from Dad... she looks really interested doesn't she?
Ready to cast... I think Leanna made the first catch of the day- some weeds... and then a bush... and almost a fish except it got away.
Nana found a kid fishing pole for Landon. Nathan put a sinker and bobber on it so we wouldn't be in any danger of being "caught" by Landon.
This is his Norman Rockwell pose.
He loved touching the fish that Daddy caught.
Landon and Papa at the shed.
Nana and Landon exploring.
Leanna always has so much energy....
and then she crashes!
My two boys going four wheeling.
Landon was asleep before we got to the end of the road. Camping wears you out.

6th graduation and Granddaddy's 90th B'day
Here's Leanna ready to "walk the line" at her 6th grade graduation ceremony! She is next to her favorite (and only) 6th grade teacher.
She was selected with a small group of other 6th graders to sing the National Anthem. She did a great job.
Look at her face- is that happy, sad, dramatic,????
She got in her moment of drama waving as she leaves the stage.
Look at those legs ready for summer sun!!!
Granddaddy turned 90! I think this pic turned out pretty good with him, Margie and two of the three great grandkids.
Swing time!
Concentrating on playing
Worry free Mimi...
Working with Daddy to build- Landon and Daddy love their tools.
