May Days

I wonder what Landon looks worried about? He can make some of the funniest faces when you're trying to get a picture.

This is one of his many silly moments. He put the napkin in his mouth and just let it hang there. He is getting busier by the day and cracks us up with the new faces and noises he makes. Such an entertainer!

Why did my mom make me eat this?! I got these biter biscuits thinking it would keep him busy while we ate and give him something to "gum". Obviously these aren't his favorite! We've tried them several different times and he always makes this face when the cookie crumbles in his mouth. He just pushes out all the half eaten cookie with his tongue and makes a big mess.

What a girl! Does Leanna know how to pose or what? This is before her tryout for the Talent Show at her school. She decided to tell jokes (after we talked her out of clogging!) and really did a fantastic job at her audition. The judges liked her outfit, said she spoke very clearly, was prepared and had cute props for her jokes. After one long day of waiting.... as she got in the car after school one day and said "well, we got the results from the auditions" and "I MADE IT!!!!" She was thrilled to say the least..... we are so excited and can't wait to watch her perform in front of the whole school next week.

What kind of mother would I be if I didn't put cute bath time pictures of my chubby boy on the blog? As you can tell he is about to outgrow this baby bathtub! He likes his bath duckies that Uncle Todd and Aunt Rebecca sent him.

DIY

I've been meaning to post this picture... You must be tired when you fall asleep in the johnny jump-up. He was fussing while jumping, but when I turned around this is what I saw! How sweet.

Check out my newest bib! "I love my Uncle"- are you listening Uncle Todd? You need to come visit me- I'm growing every day.

Look at Landon's face... he's looking at me like "Seriously Mom, stop taking pictures, Leanna is trying to read me a book!"

What a grin for early Saturday morning! Aren't they just the two cutest guys?

Here is our newest home improvement project.... our fieldstone patio. This area off our back patio wouldn't grow grass very well and our patio was always so crowded with the grill. We spent most of a Saturday and several trips to the rock place before it was finished and it turned out pretty good. Nathan worked really hard and did a great job with a little help from a superior woman supervisior :)

What's New with You?

One cool cat! This is what Landon looks like as he goes out on the town. I guess Landon and his daddy both like wearing their shades.

These are the kinds of pictures you get when Leanna has the camera and you don't know it. She had been taking LOTS of pictures of herself, her dolls, etc. She said there weren't enough pictures of her on the camera... so I guess she took care of that!

One of Landon's newest discoveries is his tongue. He will just sit around with his tongue sticking out. I thought it'd be cute to have them both doing this at the same time.... the problem is Landon doesn't stick his tongue out on command, so it took a few tries before we got this picture.

I think it's time to lower the mattress! Landon loves his puppy mobile and has figured out that if he pulls up on the side and lunges- he can almost grab the puppies. Luckily, he can only do this if he is put in his crib sitting up. He hasn't mastered the art of pushing himself up to a sitting position from a horizontal one-but I'm sure that it won't be long until he figures out how.
