Splish, splash

Here is Landon at bath time. He has just now discovered that splashing in the water is fun. We all enjoy watching him "pat" the water. If you can't tell, he's a growing boy. At his six month visit today, he weighed 17.7pds and is 27 1/2 inches long. I thought he would weigh alot more than that. Believe me- he feels a lot heavier when you're carrying him around!
What a face! We were at Mimi and Pops' house for my birthday this past weekend and it was a beautiful sunny day. Landon needed to borrow one of Pop's hats to keep the sun out of his big blue eyes.
Pops is building a tree house and so Leanna decided to test it out. She was making "onion soup" to serve everyone. She has such a wonderful imagination.
Landon is chewing on everything! He loves to slobber all over his toys, but he especially loves paper because it makes a good crinkling sound when he tears it.
Two cuties! We strapped Landon into a chair so he could sit at the table with us for lunch. Leanna is so good at keeping him entertained and can always make him smile and laugh.

Spring is in the Air

Landon wore his sheep sweater outfit to church last Sunday. Thanks Mimi- he looked adorable.

Have you heard of silly bands? Yea, me either. They obviously are the cool new thing in elementary school- they are bracelets that when you take them off they spring back into a certain shape. She has all sorts of animals, ones that glow in the dark and even letters. Leanna has accumulated quite a few as you can tell and wears two wristfuls daily.

What a beautiful body! This shows off Landon's ever expanding body. He loves to eat! I'm sure he'll appreciate this picture one day.
Spit shined and polished for church. Leanna is always ready with a smile, but Landon sometimes takes some coaxing. Obviously this was not a smiley moment.

March 2010

Pump and push, pump and push.... Leanna and Landon are enjoying the pretty spring weather we've been having. They both like to swing outside whenever possible. Nathan built the swingset last fall and it's been great for the kids.
Sweet face boy! If you look closely, you can see a big drop of drool on his chin. I thought that was cute so I had to include it.

Don't be fooled, this is not a picture of me- it's Leanna! Her new haircut makes her look even more like me, not to mention she acts so much like me as well. This haircut makes Leanna look so much older. I do make her get up about 15 minutes earlier every school morning so I can blow dry and style it- the price you pay for beauty.

Sittin' Pretty

Landon loves his exosaucer that his Aunt April got for him. He is starting to chew on everything and really enjoys pulling the toys to him so he can put them in his mouth.
Landon is wearing some of Leanna's pajamas that I saved. They are still a little bit big on Landon, but not a whole lot-actually Leanna wore these when she was 11 months old!
What a big boy! He is really starting to sit up on his own. He does get wobbly, but he enjoys the new views from a sitting up position.

I worked hard to get this picture. Everytime I got the camera out Landon would try and grab it before I could get the shot. I was just trying to get a cute view of those dimples on his elbows. He loves sitting up and pulling on his toys hanging from his playmat. We think he is incredibly strong for his age!

Well, after a long day of sitting up and playing a boy has to get his rest. No matter where you are, when you get tired, just lay down and relax!
