Aren't these the sweetest two faces? Thanks to Mrs.Donette for Landon's smocked duck outfit. He looked so adorable for church alongside his big sister.
Anytime I try to take pictures of Landon outside, it's hard to get a good shot. He is so busy looking around at everything else. He looks a little pitiful in this picture....

This is one of Landon's favorite toys- a laundry basket! I used to put in him in it with a few toys to help him sit up on his own. Now it just holds all his toys and loves to pull the basket down on it's side so he can reach everything.

Uh-oh! This is what happens when you pull down on the basket too much! Of course this didn't seem to bother Landon. He just kept on playing with the basket on his head.
Trapped! After a little while he finally started to whine because he couldn't figure out how to get the basket off. Such a funny boy!

Springtime Fun

Doesn't Landon look like a big boy sitting on the couch? He is growing everyday... he loves this soft block because it makes a crinkly sound when he squeezes it. He's really into things that make noise right now, including the sound of his own voice!
We enjoy getting outside and taking in the spring weather. In the afternoons, our back patio is shady, so Landon puts on his hat and we're off. Landon likes being outside because there are so many new things to look at and explore. I can already tell he is going to be one busy boy!
Leanna has been enjoying her sidewalk chalk from her Easter basket. She writes all kinds of notes and draws great pictures on our patio.

Landon loves ribbons! We tied a whole bunch of different colored ribbons together and he loves it. His favorite thing is to stick them in his mouth and "chew" on them. Most of the time he lets go of the ribbon and leaves it hanging from his mouth. It's hilarious!
This is Landon's daily ab workout. He will start to fall back, the blanket will catch him, but then he always tries to pull himself back to a sitting position. Hope you're out enjoying the springtime!

Easter 2010 part 2

Aunt April came for a visit over the Easter weekend. Leanna and Landon had fun getting to hang out with April for a few days.
This Easter Bunny looks kind of pitiful to me, but you take what you can get. We went to the Sam Davis Home in Smyrna for their Easter activities. I think Leanna and Landon look cuter than the Easter Bunny with their bunny ears.
They had such beautiful buttercups blooming there- this is where Nathan and I had our engagement pictures done. Leanna looks so cute and grown up in this picture. I wish it had been a little warmer that day, it had rained earlier that morning and was still pretty damp and chilly. I felt bad for Leanna because she didn't find a whole lot of eggs during the big hunt. She didn't seem to notice, so I was glad, but they definately didn't hide enough eggs for all the kids that were there.
Landon doesn't seem to mind the chilly air. He was having a good time, even when he kept falling over backwards.

Am I cool or what? Landon got sunglasses in his Easter basket. What every six month old needs, huh. He has gotten lots of compliments on them when he wears them around town.

Easter 2010

We were excited to get to visit with family over the Easter holidays. Leanna and Landon got to visit with their great grandmother, Bobbie, on Saturday evening.
Look at Leanna's hair! This is definately a "just woke up"picture. Leanna had put out carrots for the Easter Bunny on Saturday night and amazingly they were all gone the next morning! The Easter Bunny left some fun treats in their baskets. Landon doesn't have a clue what's going on, but if Leanna is laughing and having fun, it must be something worth checking out.
Well we finally got cleaned up and ready for church on Easter morning. For some reason Landon didn't want to smile and Leanna kept looking at him or somewhere else everytime we took a picture. This was about the best we could do.
We went to Mimi and Pop's house for Easter lunch and Granddaddy came down to join us. I love that he is around to see his great grandkids! He got to feed Landon his bottle and helped hide eggs for Leanna to hunt. I've got pics of our egg hunt at the Sam Davis home coming soon!
