SNOW!!!

We had @4-5 inches of snow about a week ago and Leanna was super excited!  We were out of school for three days, which was right up her alley.  She's all bundled up and ready to play.

We had gone outside on the Monday morning it snowed.  Landon didn't look too excited about it-maybe because he was so bundled up he couldn't really move.

Aren't they funny on this toboggan sled together?  I pulled them around for a few minutes, but decided that was too much work.  They are heavy!!!  There was also such a thick layer of snow that it was hard to pull them through it, we did better on the road where the cars had left a few tracks.

Do you like to eat snow?  Well poor Landon didn't have time to decide.  Leanna was shoving snow into Landon's mouth.  I don't think he thought snow was that great.

Can you see how many layers of hoods are on his head?  I put ear covers, two jacket hoods and his fleece hat. That did keep him warm-his nose and cheeks would get red and cold, but you better bet his head was still toasty.

Landon kept falling over in the sled if Leanna wasn't sitting behind him.  He couldn't really bend with all his layers, so he would just fall back.  You can get a good look at his bottom two teeth though.

Leanna and Nathan working on a snowman.  It was a good snow to roll around and actually make a snow ball.  They worked on it for a while, got distracted sledding down the ditch beside our house and never finished the snowman.  He (the snowman) just remained as three lumps of snow.   I didn't take too many pictures outside.  It was hard to manage the camera with gloves on and I'm so clumsy, I just knew I would drop it in the snow if I wasn't extra careful.

Leanna taking Landon on a wild ride through the snowy front yard.  It was a really pretty snow and we enjoyed it.  I was glad for it to clear off the roads so we weren't stuck inside for too long.

December 2010

Landon and Daddy in their matching fleece hats.  What cute boys!

So I picked the pic with Leanna's eyes closed-oh well.  They still look cute all bundled up.

Doesn't Landon look enthralled?  He's watching Leanna perform at the PTO meeting with the chorus at school.

Leanna in action.  She accessorized with a red headband to match the chorus shirt.

Now I think this picture is so funny.  The chorus had finished performing and the steel drums and band were doing their songs- she obviously wasn't excited when she wasn't in the spotlight.

The family- at least 3 out of 4 of us looked at the camera.

This is Leanna and Landon before Leanna's chorus performance on the square for the M'boro tree lighting ceremony.  It was so cold!

I had to sit on my knees in a large crowd on a brick sidewalk to even get a picture of her right before the chorus sang.  I had to yell to get her attention so I could at least prove she was there.  She was so excited and even got to shake Santa's hand!
